My name is Ryan Deen, my friends call me Deen.  Before I was born, fishing was in my blood. In the early days I thought live bait was the way to go ... and on some days it still is.  However, as my  knowledge grew, I realized I could catch just as many fish on artificial lures as live bait.  The downside of using artificial's is they begin to show wear very quickly from toothy fish chewing on them.  And, they are expensive!

One day, a friend suggested I try creating my own lures.  He said I could tailor colors, patterns, weights and shapes to fit any particular need.  So, why not?  I began selecting and painting my lures and let me tell you - THEY WORK!
 
I've honed my skills so I can create most any color pattern for my favorite baits.   At RD Fishing Tackle each and every jig and lure is hand painted and finished with Diamond Coat. RD Fishing Tackle baits are made to last, fish after fish, trip after trip.
